With Craftable Horse Armour and Saddle Mod 1.15.1/1.14.4 you can simply craft items that can only achieve in ransom dungeon or temple, which requires you to be extremely lucky to get. Those items include horse armors and saddles. With this ability, you will be able to tame horses earlier in the game.

There are 3 materials that can be used for crafting horse armors, which are iron, gold, and diamond. Iron gives 5 armor points and increases the protection value of the horse 20%. Gold gives 7 armor points and increases the protection value of the horse 28%. Diamond gives 11 armor points and increases the protection value of the horse 44%.
